Reproduction: They reach sexual maturity at age 9-10. The gestation period is 13 months, and only a single calf is born. They are weaned for aabout 2 years, but still remai with the parenst for 2 years after that. The offspring is also gray. The mom will reproduce 5-6 times throughout her lifetime.

Behavior: These species live in large gerds of about several hundred. When approaced by humans, dugongs will interact wit them proving that they have few enemies. They are shy yet curios creatures.
